Benchmarking with Alinta

The benefits of benchmarking

Benchmarking your program to a set of  national or international standards  is the first step to quality assurance. It provides your stakeholders with reassurance that all aspects of your programming is aligned to a set of established standards.

A benchmarking audit will give you  independent insights into how your program aligns with these standards, as well as practical advice on how to address any gaps in a cost effective manner.

A benchmarking audit will typically take 2-3 days, depending on the size and complexity of your program. It includes interviews with key staff, review of documentation, and observations of some adventure activities in an unobtrusive way.

Which set of standards should your program reference

Alinta is committed to the success of adventure programs in the Asia Pacific region. Thats why we offer a range of quality standards and support and guidance throughout the process.

There is no ranking system for national or international standards. Instead,  you should think about what is most relevant for your stakeholders and the locations that your program operates in.

Alinta  provides a range of program reviews for continuous improvement, including benchmarking with a choice of national and international standards.
